Misty Croslin finally went for a makeover in jail. Despite her vow to her mother Lisa to never cut her hair, Misty showed up in court this morning with a new shorter haircut.
Misty Croslin Pleas No Contest
On Monday, August 16th, Misty Croslin against all logic entered a plea of No Contest to seven drug trafficking charges in Putnam county.
Whatever Tommy Croslin’s bargaining chips were, Misty certainly has a lot less to offer LE in the way of plea dealing. She apparently is seeking to obtain a measure of revenge against Ronald Cummings for his attempt to get his sentenced reduced by ratting her out during her trial. Misty must be thinking that without a trial, Ron’s chances of having LE accept his plea deal will be slim to none. However, on the contrary the way I see it, Ronald Cummings could still testify against Misty at her pre-sentencing hearing and totally torpedo the Babysitter from Hell’s only chance of getting youthful offender status.
The way I see it, Putnam County is going to throw the book at her and with seven counts of drug trafficking she will probably end up spending the rest of her life in jail.
Facing that much time behind bars, you would certainly would want to be able to get the sentence overturned on appeal, even if it takes twenty-five years for that to happen and that means only one thing: Trial by Jury. Pleading no contest in Putnam County is just plain dumb. Pleading no contest means that even if Florida eventually were to decide to overturn its harsh minimum mandatory sentencing for drug crimes, stupid is as stupid does Misty Croslin will still end up rotting in jail forever.

Hi John. No contest, wow, what was she smoking? She did forget to smile for all the LE cameras in all the cars. Dumber than dumb. Judges don’t like to have their time wasted in courts.

I noticed she gained weight. Wonder if that’s because they made her quit smoking in jail. Wonder if she has a commissary bill similiar to Casey Anthony’s.

Yes, jon, the pork factor. I guess if you eat real food instead of pills all day long, a person would gain weight!

Seems like a re-run of the Flora Hollars tall tale on JVM to me. Okay, a little bit more detail has been added. But, Who cares? Misty publicly said nothing for over one year claiming that she remembered absolutely nothing. Their claiming that she had told her tale to LE from the start is an awful lot like when Misty first claimed that she passed their poly. They know that Putnam County wont comment.

I saw all that business on television last night. If Misty was cowering under the bed sheets, how does she know he put the child into a black bag? Also, if she was there with her brother, the two of them couldn’t over power the cousin? I don’t think we’ll ever know what really happened because none of this tribe can be believed.

Since the rest of the tribe is getting their sentences handed down, does she think this will stick and she will be getting a lesser sentence? Wow, it is mind boggling to say the least!

Well now i registered and had to change from Ronald99 , Hello all i watched cnn last couple days and my thoughts same garbage different trash bag.I dont think Joe was the person that did this, I believe Misty and Tommy are and have been trying there best to place all this on Joe.Now there reporting Misty was home the day before and they fought that whole night when the original story stated Misty came home after 3 days and Ronald went to work.
I believe the yellow rope and block in the river was a plant by Misty and Tommy because they found Yello rope in Tommys Trailer that matched, If Joe came over grabbed Tommy went to Ronalds house for the Machine gun then how did the yellow rope get back to Tommys or was it always there.
Im so SIC of all the lying and wish Grandma Flo would keep quiet, She never has any breaking news just repeats what she hears and prays someone will give her a reality show and money.
Interesting how they have Ronald agree to come back and testify in the event of a Haleigh trial, I still believe Ronald is involved and now with all seeing the reality of prison life there trying to come clean but still evading the true story.
Misty has gained alot of weight must be from the medication they give her in jail seems the stress would keep her skinny,And now the new story about a gun she kept under the pillow,Will the lies ever stop and will Tommy know the true filling of Prison life in the showers.
